Job Description
It is incumbent on a vibrant Membership committee to provide the grassroots growth necessary for the RPLC to function vigorously. Therefore the Membership Director's appointment is one of the most important core seats on the county Executive committee.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and supervise a Membership committee.
• Develop a program of membership expansion and oversee the membership renewal process.
• Develop a list of volunteers from the membership that will be willing to provide staffing requirements for calling banks, headquarters staffing, precincts walks, and Local or State Candidates needs.
• To plan and direct each stage of the membership development process.
• The recruitment of new members and the association of other political affiliates that fit with the ideals and goals of the Republican Party of Lincoln County and the RPNM.
• The orientation of new members and volunteers.
• To develop and direct general membership campaigns and ensure these are coordinated with recruitment and retention activity.
• Maintain contact with volunteer committees
o Provide them with support and assistance
o Advise them about policies and training.
