Finance Chair
Job Description
The Finance Director must be motivated, a self-starter, detail oriented, organized, and hopefully have contacts in the political fundraising arena. This appointed position breathes life into the RPLC by providing the funds necessary for the party to function.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and chair a Finance committee (the RPLC Treasurer shall be a member of all finance committees).
• Writing and implementing a fundraising plan with aid from the RPLC Treasurer.
• Establish and achieve yearly and quarterly fundraising goals.
• Plan and coordinate fundraising events.
• Draft fundraising literature, i.e. mail, e-mails, invitations, etc. with the aid of the Communication Director.
• Train (if necessary) and support Local Candidate’s fundraising events.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and oversee any grant writing when pertaining to Local Lincoln County Candidates.
• Help track the RPLC contributions.
