Communications Director
Job Description
The Communications Director of the RPLC is a core appointed member of the RPLC Executive committee and vital in its operations. The Communications Director shall work at every level of county government (partisan and non-partisan) and grassroots involvement to deliver consistent messaging.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and supervise a Communications committee.
• Develop long and short-term media-based strategies for getting the Lincoln County Republican Local and Statewide Candidates elected.
• Support these same Candidates as elected officials.
• Serve as the RPLC primary media contact and spokesperson.
• Successfully promote Republican messages through earned media outlets.
• Prepare RPLC Officers, Officials, and Candidates for media interviews.
• Coordinate with statewide campaigns to create a local county plan for grassroots communications.
• Provide political writing workshops.
• Provide professional communications support for Republican Principals, Volunteers, and local Republican Officials.
